Putin: a Russian spy story, is a BBC documentary series that shows how a KGB colonel became one of the world's powerful leaders. As conflict rages in Ukraine and with a potential second cold war imminent, this Putin biography explores how he used spy-craft to become a powerful President of Russia. In my project, I made an intro that presents the manipulations and dissonance between the statehood and cruelty that exist in Putin and Russian culture, from a personal point of view as someone who grew up in a family that immigrated from the Soviet Union.
